About 2.5 hours north of Perth, The Pinnacles is a truly classic Western Australian attraction, containing thousands of limestone Pinnacles up to 5 metres high.
There is some controversy around how The Pinnacles came about though. It’s believed these amazing limestone structures are made up of raw material which came from seashells which were formed through the preservation of a cast of trees buried millions of years ago when at that time, the area was underwater. Whatever the reason, they are truly amazing to witness!
We will be travelling by car leaving at 3:00pm from Elizabeth Quay in the Perth CBD, arriving at approximately 5:30pm. We will be using the 2.5 hr travel time to discuss conditions and composition options and will be ready to get shooting as soon as we arrive!
We will reconvene at 7:30pm and depart for Perth after a quick debrief. Arrival back at Elizabeth Quay will be around 10:00pm.
